Breast Cancer, Really???
Three Months of My Life...
Surprise, surprise, on 07-02-2025, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had to go to 9 different doctors as soon as possible and lost my job within three weeks. I then had to cut back on my generosity. Without a job, it was hard to continue to support my recovery efforts without a salary. By 10-10, my breast cancer removal and reconstruction surgery was complete. Yippee, the cancer left my body! I only take one pill a day for the next five years.
I was inspired to start an effort to support others recovery efforts, which includes rides for girls to A.A. meetings, free giveaways and trinkets, books, Bibles, clothes, pamphlets, pens/journals, umbrellas, trips to the Food Bank, and now aid to my best friends, The Breasties, other members of the cancer club. They were struggling to make ends meet during their three month ordeal, and while there is funding for breast cancer research, there are no funds for incidentals.
